THE SETTING
Baby Room
This carefully designed space supports the learning and development of children aged between 3 months and 2 years. The space is designed to ensure babies and young children feel secure, stimulated and ready to explore. The different learning areas are organised to support the development of different skills and resources are carefully positioned to encourage young children to use their senses to look, touch, manipulate and ultimately learn.
Over 2s Room
This room has been organised to support learning in all areas of the early years curriculum. Children move freely around their environment, selecting resources and activities which interest them and which offer a range of play opportunities and experiences.
Outdoor Provision
Children have daily access to our nursery garden. The space is a rich, multi-sensory environment that is meaningful, stimulating and motivating. Children can explore concepts, explore nature and work independently or collaborative in the space. Our outdoor learning is not limited to our own garden area. We make daily trips to local parks and also support children to make sense of the world around them by regularly visiting the post office, train station, super market, vets and other local amenities.
